BRIEF DETAILS
Technical education especially pharmacy related degree programs are making fast progress in our state of Madhya Pradesh. This is mainly because there is great demand and employment potential of manpower with such skill set. More than 2 lakhs students appear in 10 +2 examination every year. A good number of them pass Science/Biology stream in 1st division out of which a large number of these students want to join degree program in pharmacy. Students can acquire desired skill set in this area only by getting quality education with sufficient practical exposures. Such institutions are short in number in M.P. This has resulted in a sizable number of students preferring to join the other institute in the neighboring states. The students going to other states contribute very little to the economy of parent state M.P. And more importantly the institutes in our state are deprived of opportunity to develop the kind of wholesome expertise, which they should do. This results in institutes in MP loosing initiatives. Therefore there is strong need to hold back these students in our state by increasing the number of pharmacy institutes which can provide quality education. Apart from this when we analyze the recruitment scenario in the industry this become even more obvious. State of M.P. is opening its doors to pharmaceutical industry in a big way and availability of property educated; quality work force locally will be added reason for these industries to come here. In order to sustain rapid growth efficiently, properly trained manpower is required. Keeping above points in minds there is a large scope for quality B.Pharma, Programs in the state.
