ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES

Basic Academic Philosophy of the Institution:
People’s Institute of Pharmacy & Research Centre will be run by Sarvajanik Jankalyan Parmarthik Nyas.  This trust is honor bound to prepare competent manpower for the growth of the region.  The criterion for entering the pharmaceutical industry is a rigorous training and quality education at B. Pharm level.   The Sarvajanik Jankalyan Parmarthik Nyas is to fully concentrate in further improving the quality and to provide students the opportunity to avail B. Pharm level education. The basic purpose behind this, is overall personality development of the students in addition to a high quality teaching learning process. 

Types of Programmes:
People’s Institute of Pharmacy & Research Centre will start functioning from the academic session 2007-2008. The Chronological inductions of various courses are given in the following table.

Phase-wise Introduction of Programmes & Intake:
The parent society has been running many degree and diploma programs since last 5 years and so has ample experience. For imparting quality B. Pharm education the members of the society have promoted a charitable trust. Land has been purchased and all formalities for construction of building as per AICTE norms have been completed.  Construction of building is progress, college building has come up to lintel level, Equipments and other infrastructure for identified programme are in the process of procurement. Principal and other faculty having qualification as per AICTE norms have been identified.  Therefore, the college is in the position of starting the B.Pharm programme with an intake of 60 students from the academic session 2007-2008.
