Dental education must stress the importance of meeting the oral health of all individuals". The academy’s mission is to educate and train students to ensure excellence in the practice of the art & science of the dental profession. This requires graduates to be technically skilled, knowledge able in the biological sciences, compassionate, and sensitive to the need of all patients and the community. The academy fosters innovative teaching, research, scholarship and community service. Furthermore, the academy instils an inquisitive mind set and the need for lifelong learning among its faculty and students. The academy offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course with 100 admissions per year. MDS course in six specialities has also been started from 2011-12.

1. Under the aegis of Sarvajanik Jankakyan Parmarthik Nyas, People’s Dental Academy, Bhopal (PDA) was established in the year 2004. The academic session commenced in the year 2005 with an intake of 100 students.
2. PDA is conducting BDS course. The College is permitted to start the M.D.S. courses in six specialties of Prosthodontics, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Community Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology & microbiology and Conservative Dentistry by Govt. of India from 2011-12.  Its associated Hospital is having 850 beds and is located in close vicinity. It provides extensive clinical facilities to the students for learning at both, rural and urban centers.
3. PDA is affiliated to Barkatullah University (B.U) for the BDS & MDS course. It has the required approvals of the Dental Council of India and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Govt. of India) as well as the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
