DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LAB TECHNOLOGY

Considering the mounting insist of medical lab technicians apart from BMLT we are also providing the course of DMLT.  Medical laboratory Technicians are in high demand, hence all the medical practitioners are now going with strict investigation procedures before diagnosis and prescription to shun any deprived approaches. Each and every hospitals (where private or government, super specialty or small nursing home unit) have lots of vacancies for the laboratory technicians. Here we provide ‘hands-on' training for the students at various teaching labs of the hospital of People's Group.

DMLT students at PCPS are introduced to a number of practical centers like Anatomy dissection labs, Physiology lab, Biochemistry lab, Blood bank, Microbiology & serology lab, Hematology, Cytology, Histo-pathology lab, etc under different teaching hospitals of People’s Group.

Duration: Two Year

Eligibility: 10 + 2 / equivalent with 40% (aggregate in physics, chemistry & biology) marks.

Objectives

• To provide knowledge to the students to assist in various labs.
• To get oriented with various equipments in the labs and the mode of handling  them.
• To introduce with patient approaches at ICU, OPD, Lab, etc.
