DIPLOMA IN DIALYSIS TECHNICIAN

In this modern world kidney problems are very common which is secondary to various conditions like diabetes, hyper-tension, complication to various drugs, poor food habits and life style, etc. Role of dialysis technician is to help the patients to separate the waste liquids or chemicals which the kidneys will normally do, through various dialyzers or procedures.

Duration:  Two Years

Eligibility:  10 + 2 / equivalent with 40% aggregate in physics, chemistry & biology.

Objectives

• To prepare the students to assist the Nephrologists in the hospital.
• To disseminate with various types of  Dialysis equipments & their operation
• To enable them to become acquainted with Kidney problems.
• To train the students with various patients at ICU, Nephrology ward, etc.
