SEMINAR & WORKSHOP |
Along with regular teaching, the Institute also conducts co-curricular activities. The Institute conducts Seminars and Workshops regularly in collaboration with prestigious government and non government agencies. The different centers for Media Studies also occasionally conducts discussion on Contemporary issues for the students.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO NARSINHGARH YATRA: |
Institute has conducted educational trip to the Narsinhgarh about 80 Kms to Bhopal. Students learnt & Saw so many historical points, Fort, National Park and wrote the script (Yatra Virtant). Students interacted with village people and had seen the actual problem faced by there people. It was a whole day program with full of enjoyment with adventure.

SPORTS & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES |
After first semester examination Institute has organized very colourful program for media students in February month. Students were much exited to perform on stage. It was a four day program from 14th to 17th February. The program began with Cricket & Kho-Kho competition among different student teams then many other competitions like Class Decoration, Antakshari, and News Encoring Competition Quiz Show were organized in other days.

BASANT - 2011 |
A cultural program celebrated on evening of 5th March 2011, all the students of PIMS participated in this event at different level. There were Solo Songs, Solo Dance, Group Songs, Group Dance, Plays by students, Orchestra, Mimicry Show and many more

SAMPADAK SAMMELAN |
Institute has organized one state level program as SAMPADAK SAMMELAN. Editors come of prominent news papers from all over M.P. and delivered speech on new challenges in media field. It was a great opportunity for media students to interact with them. They also shared their experience with the students solved the queries and motivated them to accept the challenges of this field.

DOCUMENTARY FILM |
Students of Electronic Media Department are making one documentary file on People’s Group. Duration of this file is 20 minute and shooting work is completed editing and vice over work is going on shortly it will be launch.

PRAYAS |
Students of Print Media Department launched 2 pages news paper PRAYAS. It is totally in house production by the students. They are learning how to write and arrange the news on computer and print the paper faculty is also helping of students.
